Where's the Van!?

It's one of those days where things just keep getting crazier. Not alot of sleep in the past 72 hours along with having to complete the final 3 C++ lab reports by myself is finally beginning to take its toll on my sanity. Who am I kidding, didn't have any sanity left anyway ^^;.

Oh thank you Peppers for providing a good laugh and odd observation. I'll post a picture of our table letters later and it'll make alot more sense I'm sure. Final Fantasy Advent Children finally released in the States, but it doesn't really matter that much for most of the fans anyway. I'm pretty confident that anybody who closely followed that movie has managed to see the rip of it several times already.

Bleh, I might as well get back to working on my final projects for ECE and philosophy class. Why? Because apparently "we're all sheep...", according to one professor.

Later.

Summer is upon us....

Yes, it is that time of year. It's a time when the Giant Military Squirrels are beginning to emerge, bringing their deadly arsenal of newly developed cyborg squirrels into a vicious battle with a tribe of mildly dsylexic gerbils.

That story up, whenever I feel like getting around to it.

Spring break was the usual "do nothing/relax" kinda break. No beach, no ski trips, nothing. Honestly, doing nothing is good, its a scientific fact that people who do nothing are happy, well-developed people whose job often involves rattling a tin can and "looking" like a hobo. Still, sounds like it's better than working in a cubefarm from 9-5 at some job where you do nothing but fill out forms and have meetings at random. At least they have donuts at those meetings....or so I hear. Oh well, at least this Spring Break might have allowed for the creation of another "Girls gone Wild" ad.....

There's MTAC, still not entirely sure what I'm going to do about that. Eh, Comp I soon, guess I'll get going.

<peace>

It's been an eventful day thus far....

Apparently my number is roughly close to that of the Starkville police station, because for some reason I received a call around 2 a.m. with some lady raving about whether or not this was the police station. Then I was treated to a lovely light display complete with thunder for a few hours....needless to say, sleep is not known to me at the moment. It's always fun to wander about in a half-dazed, sleep-deprived state of being to the point of having a vision of Lucky the Leprechaun stabbing kids w/ a broken golf club at the disco.

Regardless of the rain and such, its all good. Managed to get soaked on the way to English this morning, fun times . Suppose I should have worn my seal suit....its an actual seal by the way that I clubbed during my adventures to Alaska.

Woot, time to escape from the ECE lab/prison.

Better Days

And you ask me what I want this year.
And I try to make this kind and clear.
Just a chance that maybe we'll find better days.
Cuz I don't need boxes wrapped in strings.
And desire and love and empty things.
Just a chance that maybe we'll find better days .

So take these words.
And sing out loud.
Cuz everyone is forgiven now.
Cuz tonight's the night the world begins again.

And it's someplace simple where we could live.
And something only you can give.
And thats faith and trust and peace while we're alive.
And the one poor child that saved this world.
And there's 10 million more who probably could.
If we all just stopped and said a prayer for them .

So take these words.
And sing out loud Cuz everyone is forgiven now.
Cuz tonight's the night the world begins again.

I wish everyone was loved tonight.
And somehow stop this endless fight.
Just a chance that maybe we'll find better days.

So take these words.
And sing out loud.
Cuz everyone is forgiven now.
Cuz tonight's the night the world begins again.
Cuz tonight's the night the world begins again.

Well, it's been quite some time obviously since the last update. I've honestly felt no urge to add anything here since nothing of great interest has happened. Anyhow, it would seem that "somebody" requested an update, and so here it is.

This Christmas break has been a much needed vacation away from Starkville, MSU and so forth. Regardless, I'm more than eager to return after a month long hiatus from college life. It I will end up continuing at MSU after this semester or I might as well return home. Actually, if this semester doesn't pan out, I don't think I'll be afforded much of a choice.

Along with this next set of courses is the fact that I no longer have any roommates. That said, I don't think I'll be up for another set until sometime during Fall semester. It was an interesting experience to say the least, and provided me with a good introspective on several different issues. I'm not exactly sure where either of them are rooming, although I do have a general idea of where both apartment complexes are located, nothing definite though. No harsh feelings, just things didn't really seem to work out and I figure that these things were done for the best.

Aside from that, currently reading several different books that I care to recommend: Orson Scott Cards, Call of Earth series, Isaac Asimovs, Foundations trilogy, and R.A. Salvatore's, Servant of the Shard. Finally, I'm still wondering if Peter Jackson will be able to get rights to "The Hobbit". It would be interesting indeed to see his skills applied to the cinematic creation of Smog, The Misty Mountains, and The Battle of the Dale.

Well, so here it is, that "somebody" who requested the update should be happy now .
